Ashley Opens Several New Locations

In March, Ashley celebrated the opening of several new stores:  one 38,000 sq. ft. showroom in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, a 21,000 sq. ft. Ashley Furniture HomeStore location in Nairobi and a third 2,136 sq. ft. location in Surabaya, Indonesia which is situated inside Galaxy Mall, Surabaya. Ashley, one of the largest retail furniture store brands in North America has more than 1,075 locations worldwide.

More On The Pennsylvania Store

The new store in Pennsylvania is owned and operated by Abdul Ayyad, who owns eleven additional Ashley stores in the surrounding region.

More On The Showroom In Nairobi

The new Nairobi store is owned and operated by Fairdeal Furniture Ltd, which owns four additional Ashley Furniture HomeStores in the surrounding region. The Park View store will employ approximately 12 people.

More On The Indonesian Location

Surabaya Location

The new store in Surabaya, Indonesia is owned and operated by PT. Home Center Indonesia, who owns 12 additional Ashley stores in the surrounding area. This is the second HomeStore in the province of East Java.

The store’s interior architectural design includes 13 settings with distinctive styles of New Traditions, Vintage Casual and Contemporary. The showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes.  Similarly to the Nairobi location, product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses and accessories. Technology is incorporated into the space to improve the customer shopping experience.
