Spring Air International Expands with Briody Bedding Deal

In a strategic move that marks a significant expansion of its international presence, Spring Air International has recently signed a deal with Briody Bedding Limited, ushering in a new era for both companies in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This partnership reaffirms Spring Air’s commitment to its global licensing network, adding a third new international licensee in just a few months.

Spring Air, a renowned leader in the mattress industry, and Briody Bedding, a trusted Irish manufacturer, have shared a robust business relationship for many years. This longstanding alliance has primarily benefitted from Briody’s exclusive rights in Ireland. With the new deal, Briody rejoins Spring Air’s international licensing network, poised to introduce a broader range of innovative products in the local market.

Founded in 1974 by Benny Briody and Brid Briody, the company began with just three employees producing 30 mattresses a week. Today, under the leadership of the Briody children, the company has expanded to 90 employees manufacturing 1,000 mattresses weekly. This growth was recently acknowledged when Briody Bedding received the AIBF Enterprise of the Year Award from the All-Ireland Business Foundation.
