Glideaway Broadens Adjustable Base Selection to Meet Growing Consumer Needs

In the ever-evolving landscape of the U.S. adjustable base market, Glideaway is gearing up to spice things up with the introduction of two fresh models in its "Comfort Base Lifestyle" lineup at the much-anticipated Winter Las Vegas Market, happening from January 24th to 28th. These new entrants are all about giving Glideaway's dealers and their customers more options to choose from, catering to various budgets.

With a rich history that spans over half a century in crafting metal bed frames, Glideaway is adding the Ascend Comfort Base and the Freestyle Comfort Base to its roster. These newcomers are set to diversify the options available in retail spaces, bridging gaps in both pricing and features.

Dan Baker, Glideaway's Vice President of National Sales, shared insights on the growing fascination with adjustable bed bases. He mentioned that retailers are on the lookout for a wider array of products that not only cater to a broader audience but also boost profit margins. Baker reminisced about the warm reception of last year's models – the Prelude, Elevation, Rhythm – and expressed enthusiasm for how the new models will further enrich the company's offerings, providing customers with a plethora of choices to meet their needs.

In response to the enthusiasm surrounding Glideaway's patented Elevate Lift feature, the company came up with the Ascend Comfort Base. This model boasts an ability to tilt up to a 12-degree incline and features a wireless remote with customizable settings. It also incorporates Glideaway's Sleep Enhancement Technology™, aimed at addressing serious health issues like intense back pain and acid reflux, all at a price point that's more wallet-friendly. Dressed in an elegant Stone Grey fabric, the Ascend is set to retail for $1,599 to $1,699 for a queen-size model.

Then there's the Freestyle Comfort Base, a novel addition to the Comfort Base collection. Its streamlined, single split-deck design is perfect for placing atop any existing base or platform bed. This model is particularly appealing for online shopping, thanks to its lighter and more compact packaging, making shipping and setup a breeze. It comes equipped with essential remote features, including adjustments for the head and foot sections and preset positions, with the queen-size model priced between $799 and $999.
