Therapedic International will unveil the first three new Tommy Bahama Home Collections at the upcoming Winter Las Vegas Market. Developed through an exclusive licensing agreement with the island-inspired lifestyle brand, the ten-bed line-up features a variety of conventional innerspring, hybrid and specialty-foam beds.
Tommy Bahama Home mattresses are made with materials sourced throughout the USA, including the company’s new non-toxic, eco-friendly “Floating Foam” core. The foam offers increased airflow to emulate a floating sensation, while the wrapped coil unit features an offset floating center for more resilient and responsive support from the lower shoulder to the hip region. Each model’s name, aesthetic and comfort feel evokes a relaxed island-inspired retreat.
Since its establishment in August 1992, the Tommy Bahama brand has defined relaxed, sophisticated style in men’s and women’s sportswear, swimwear, accessories, footwear and a complete home furnishings collection. In addition to more than 150 Tommy Bahama retail locations worldwide, the Tommy Bahama collection is also sold online and at specialty retailers stores across the country.
Therapedic has incorporated the recognizable look and style of the well-known brand into the new mattress collection. The top models are accented with burnished brass corner guards while the rest of the collection is topped off with a decorative Tommy Bahama branded ribbon and linen-inspired corner guards to epitomize this classic American brand with a relaxed attitude.
“Using high quality components, designs, and attention to detail, we ensured the line displayed the same sophisticated island aesthetics for which Tommy Bahama Home products are known,” said Therapedic International President and CEO Gerry Borreggine.
The innerspring offerings—Gone Coastal, Pier Pressure and Shore Thing—feature a beautiful stretch knit top panel embellished with a mini palm tree design consistent with the island-inspired image of the brand. The collection’s three hybrid offerings—Pure Paradise, Bay Dreamer and Long Weekend—tout a lattice designed ticking inspired by the palm tree motif on Tommy Bahama’s ready-to-wear shirts. The three, top-of-the- line specialty foam models—Nevis, Barbados and Grand Cayman—showcase zippered covers featuring swaying palm fronds and the Tommy Bahama logo.
The Tommy Bahama Home mattress collection is the latest introduction in Therapedic’s extensive portfolio of unique sleep systems. With over 50 licensees producing products under the Therapedic label throughout the world, the company has significantly increases its brand awareness and distribution in the related sleep products categories over the past five years.
“This is one of the most exciting product launches in Therapedic’s history,” Borreggine continued. “We worked closely with the Tommy Bahama team to design a line that captured the relaxed elegance the Tommy Bahama brand represents. The result is a “Made in America” product produced by an international brand with American headquarters.”
