Sharper Image’s “Response Sleep System” Debuts at Winter Las Vegas Market
The exclusive, five-model Response™ Sleep System by Sharper Image® will be officially launched at the Winter Las Vegas Market with the marketing position, “wake up well™.”

“The Response line is unique in the industry in that each bed is designed as an ‘Active Sleep System,’ rooted in the philosophy that the ideal mattress adapts to the uniqueness of each person.
Manufactured and distributed by Southerland’s three US factories, Response Sleep Systems are sold to select retail partners that market the beds in exclusive trading areas. All five models carry a 25-year limited warranty and offer consumers a 100-night Comfort Guarantee.
Each model features high performance materials that work in synergy to optimize the Active Response properties of the line. This includes a proprietary Contouring Response core that integrates with pressure-relieving layers. Active Response top layers made of open-cell Talalay latex work in concert with Energy Response foam layers to lift the body while simultaneously absorbing the sleeper’s weight, eliminating pressure points. A High Density Response Zone provides enhanced lumbar support and extra pressure relief for the body’s heavier midsection.

Ranging at retail from $1,699 to $2,999 in queen-size, the Sharper Image Response Sleep mattress collection includes the starting Devotion bed and moves up the line to the Inspiration, Dedication, Adoration and Jubilation models, each offering a specific feel or addressing a sleep preference or need.
Shoppers can choose from a matching, fully upholstered Static Response traditional foundation (a high grade, modular steel box support system) or an Active Response power foundation, an upgrade which includes four wireless position settings, a “wave” massage function with three programmable settings, plus dual comfort options in queen and king sizes.
Sharper Image Response beds are designed with white stretch knit covers that optimize the energy transfer between the body and the sleep system. A dark charcoal-metallic, upholstery-grade fabric applied to the side panels gives the beds a clean-lined, high-contrast appearance in keeping with the brand’s visual identity.
Retail partners are provided with such marketing benefits as turn-key, high tech-styled package of branded headboards, footers and luxury latex pillows; mounted, in-store iPad® tablets that consumers can use; educational videos and customizable TV commercials; and a dedicated Response Sleep web site. They also have access to a Sharper Image database of millions of consumers for target marketing as well as ongoing sales training.
