Sealy Incorporates Gel Into Comfort Series Memory Foam Mattress

Sealy® has announced the addition of gel to the Sealy Comfort Series® Memory Foam mattress line – becoming the first major bedding manufacturer to introduce gel at a promotional price point. Featuring a fresh new aesthetic with an enhanced color palette and bold, contrasting colors, the new line will debut during Las Vegas Market and will be offered at a competitive starting price point of $599.

“We’ve heard from retailers that consumers are looking for affordable gel offerings,” said Jodi Allen, chief marketing officer at Sealy. “By adding gel to Sealy Comfort Series Memory Foam, consumers can now choose a gel mattress with the ideal blend of comfort, support and affordability for which Sealy is known.”

Made from advanced memory foam and gel, the Comfort Series Memory Foam with gel is specifically designed to respond to the body’s temperature and weight. The mattress supports the entire body—from shoulders to the hips to the lumbar regions of the back. The updated line reduces pressure points on a unique surface that conforms to every curve while keeping the neck and spine aligned to cradle the body into a deep, restful sleep. The foam relaxes and re-forms to the body, helping to relieve aches and improve circulation. Furthermore, the mattress absorbs motion so your partner’s movements won’t transfer, and you’ll wake up refreshed, with more energy throughout the day.
