As direct-to-consumer sales continue to grow within the bed-in-a-box category, King Koil is looking to help its retail partners better connect with online shoppers. The company has enhanced its Express Comfort collection, debuting four new iMattress roll-pack mattresses debuting at Winter Las Vegas Market.
With two new hybrid styles and two all-foam options, the iMattress Express Comfort line ranges in retail price from $699 to $999 and offers easy-shipping options for e-commerce retailers. The two hybrid models feature the company’s newly expanded Perfect Contour Reaction, a proprietary coil system that supports improved sleep posture and motion reduction. For additional support, the Reaction Q2 Coil Edge creates a more balanced sleeping surface. The two visco-foam models feature the company’s iFusion visco gel technology and iNergex3, a highly responsive foam.
“There’s no denying that the bed-in-a-box category continues to gain momentum, and more and more retailers are offering mattresses via e-commerce. We want to empower our licensees and retailers to better compete in this category with feature-filled product that adds real value,” said Owen Shoemaker, president and COO of King Koil. “Our iMattress Express Comfort offers an incredible construction story using the latest technology that’s hard to beat. Couple the construction with the ease of shipping, and we’ll put these quality designs up against any bed in the marketplace.”
To complete the Express Comfort collection, King Koil will also introduce a new adjustable base and the King Koil Sleep Essentials program. The new adjustable base is UPS-friendly and is set to retail at $1,099 in queen, while the Sleep Essentials program includes a variety of King Koil branded mattress protectors and pillows that are priced to retail from $34.99 to $119.99 in queen.
