King Koil is now flooring three of its marque collections –SmartLife, Natural and Austen—in over 200 Macy’s locations in the United States and macys.com. The program began earlier this year with an exclusive Austen collection line-up, jointly developed by King Koil and Macy’s, and now expands to include a five-model Natural collection and its SmartLife iOBED technology mattress.
“Our offering with Macy’s has been growing steadily with these new beds as we work with them to gain more market share with consumers looking for premium natural bedding options and more luxury choices,” said King Koil CEO David Binke. “There is such a strong appetite for natural, luxury and smart bed technology today, and we are finding that strong retailers like Macy’s understand that they need more variety in these categories than they once had to meet consumer demand.”
The Natural Collection
The Natural collection is made with layers of premium natural materials such as Joma Wool, Talalay latex and OEKO-TEX certified cotton. CertiPUR-US certified foams of Graphite infused memory foam, SnoResponse and HypurGel are then added for pressure relieving support and cooling comfort. King Koil’s trademarked mattress styles, BlissTop and Trimline designs are showcased in the Juniper and Primose models. The Natural collection are then enhanced with King Koil’s tailormade button tufting process to ensure years of consistent and luxurious sleep.
The SmartLife iOBED technology mattress employs King Koil’s advanced technology, which includes 80 individual smart bed cells in eight independently controlled zones to provide the comfort a person needs for optimal sleep. It is also designed with a patented body-sensing technology that automatically adjusts to an individual’s unique body shape, height and weight, and continuously monitors and adjusts to a person’s preferred sleep position. The sleep system is programmed and monitored through the SmartLife App, which can be downloaded onto smart devices.
The Austen Collection
The mattresses in the exclusive Austen collection are made with high-end materials including Enkev horse hair, natural wool, cashmere, graphite-infused Talalay latex resting over 1000 encased coils.
About King Koil
A leading global mattress manufacturer, King Koil supports more than 25 licensees in more than 80 countries where King Koil mattresses are manufactured and sold. Headquartered in Avondale, Arizona, the company has a long, rich history that reaches back to 1898 when Samuel Bronstein founded United States Bedding in St. Paul, Minnesota. What started out as six employees in a small factory has continued to grow. During the 1930s, U.S. Bedding improved the bedspring and was looking for a new name for its product. From there, the King Koil name was born.
