Inspired by the design symmetries, botanicals and serene colors found in traditional English gardens, the eight-model English Garden Collection is expected to retail from $499 to $999 for a queen.
“We believe retailers will quickly recognize that this line not only has striking visual appeal, but uses premium components that en-sure Jamison’s usual quality, durability and comfort,” noted Ken Hinman, senior vice president of sales and marketing.
“At the same time, this unique bed series is priced to jumpstart retail traffic and generate healthy sales and profits.”
The new mattress line incorporates three different versions of a new fabric-encased coil core called Palladian Smart Coil® technology.
The wrapped coils of each unit are connected at the sides but move freely at their tops and bottoms, molding to the body to provide exceptional conformance. The different Palladian Smart Coil units are designed to deliver extra firmness, added height or zoned comfort and support. The majority of the units are foam-encased.
The collection’s comfort layers include varying densities and combinations of premium foams, JGel™ memory foam, and fiber and cotton-poly layers—all of which promote the beds’ contouring yet supportive feels.
“English Garden beds are designed to put the sleeper’s body in perfect symmetry for rest and relaxation,” Hinman said. “That’s the basis for branding this line ‘The Natural Symmetry of Sleep’.”
The custom-made, stretch knit covers are quilted and infused with an Aloe Vera emollient—an extract valued for its healing benefits—to promote softness and wellness.
English Garden mattresses will be shown on a new Jamison TruBalance® foundation, which are now used in all Jamison sleep sets. Designed for strength and durability, TruBalance foundations are made from premium Canadian woods and covered in white or cream quilted fabrics.
Jamison will dedicate its showcase room at High Point Market to presenting the new collection in a retail environment that uses boxwood topiaries and lattice-back displays to replicate the garden experience.
Top-of-bed dressings will feature superimposed photography of compelling English garden scenes.
Along with a range of new in-store support materials, Jamison will show at market a new video that sets the mood and tone of the English Garden Collection, while reviewing the line’s features and benefits.
