International Bedding Introduces Retail Values
International Bedding released “outstanding values” for many of its best-selling brands, including a selection of new, “stunningly designed” Europa® models aimed at providing dealers with compelling, business-driving products.
“Our primary objective this market is to give retailers what they really need: Robust values on quality, branded products that will capture mattress shoppers and ultimately help retailers close more sales more quickly,” explained Jeff Maillet, company CEO. “We recognize that the value equation has changed on selling floors across the country.”
According to Mark Wozniak, IB vice president of marketing, the new Europa products offer exceptional quality in both design and materials, and range from premium to luxury styles at aggressive queen retails from $799 to $1,599. Wozniak said the new models use Talalay latex, contouring memory foam and other premium foam layers to create distinctive comfort choices. “Along with the tremendous quality and value that these mattresses provide, retailers will be very excited by their striking appearance and new fabric aesthetics,” he added.
The new Europa models feature rich, upholstered looks and use a variety of textures and treatments on the borders and gussets. Dressed in quality knit panel covers, the beds capitalize on high-contrast colorations, leather-like accents and crisp tailoring to create a differentiated luxury look.
A coordinated top-of-bed package enhances the appearance of the beds and makes for an overall standout presentation on the retail floor, Wozniak said. “The goal was to be fashion-forward and very distinctive in our colors, patterns and in the finished design. We believe retailers will be extremely impressed with the results.”
Also at market, International Bedding will introduce up to nine new “great value” beds expected to retail from $399 to $899. Intended to be actively merchandised and advertised among retailers’ existing line-ups, these new IB models fit within several of the company’s branded assortments, including AmericanPedic® and Classic Collection.
“Every product has a solid selling story, is visually compelling and represents an exceptional value,” Wozniak concluded. “We anticipate an excellent response to these targeted promotional products.”
