Gold Bond Expands Latex Collection With Two New Latex Mattress Models
Setting its sights on consumers looking for the comfort benefits of a specialty sleep product with the enhanced longevity of a two-sided mattress, Gold Bond will debut two new models in its Latex Collection at the High Point Market. The company will feature its first two-sided latex mattress, The Platinum, and a new one-sided model, The Gold at High Point.
Like the other models in the line-up, The Platinum and The Gold deliver high quality performance at value driven price points. While each mattress combines superior support and a soft, luxurious feel, the two-sided Platinum offers two sleeping surfaces with plush, a deep quilted top on both sides of the mattress.
“Our two-sided innerspring mattress models are our most popular products. But with the recent growth of the specialty sleep category, we decided to do what we do best—take our expertise in two-sided mattresses and apply it to a new model in our Latex Collection,” said Gold Bond President Robert Naboicheck. “We’ve seen that two-sided mattresses last longer which is part of our value added proposition. Both the Platinum and the Gold models feature latex cores for shape conforming full body support and pressure relief. Under the lush four way stretch knit ticking is a deep quilted top with two inches of polyester fiber, cotton fiber and Supersoft foam to provide more breathability and air flow for a cooler sleep. The Platinum is made with 10 inches of 100 percent Dunlop Latex, two inches of Supersoft latex, six inches of medium firm latex, and two inches of Supersoft latex. The single-sided Gold model features 10 inches of 100 percent Dunlop Latex, two inches of Supersoft latex, two inches of soft latex, and six inches of medium firm latex.
