Classic Brands Unveils Two New Entry-Level Collections

Classic Brands will launch a pair of aggressively-priced bedding collections at the summer Las Vegas Market. Both the Posture Cloud and ValuePedic line-ups spotlight the company’s tariff-free products and its expertise in logistics and product development.

“With the upheaval in the marketplace due to tariffs and anti-dumping duties, we felt it was time to capitalize on the capabilities of our non-Chinese manufacturing partners and introduce products that deliver a good night’s sleep at very competitive price points,” said Mark Owen, development at Classic Brands. “And we’re focusing on two of the most popular segments of the business—hybrids and memory foam.”

Earlier this year, Classic moved all of its production out of China to factories in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam, enabling the company to avoid the tariffs and anti-dumping duties recently implemented on Chinese-made mattresses.

The Posture Cloud hybrid line features a pocketed coil innerspring unit cushioned with gel- and charcoal-infused memory foam. Though the retail price point is set at $399 to $699 in queen, a stretch knit cover gives the line the look and feel of premium specialty bedding. The four mattress models range from 9.5 inches to 12 inches in height.

The ValuePedic collection is Classic Brands’ first-ever entry-level memory foam line, with retail price points ranging from $269 to $399 in queen. It features models at eight, 10 and 12 inches in height with a core of gel-infused memory foam. Like all Classic Brands mattresses, the newest line can be roll-packed and shipped in a box, making it suitable for both e-commerce and brick-and-mortar retail channels.
