Focusing on the youth through young millennial market, Boyd Sleep will showcase the new Groove Tie Dye program at the summer Las Vegas Market. This comprehensive program includes memory foam mattresses, inflatable air mattress with pump, rollup bed, foldaway bed, matching platform bed and cluster memory foam pillow. As the company expands its reach into mass merchant and big box specialty store distribution, it will also spotlight upgraded Broyhill and Boyd Sleep Memory Foam and Engineered Latex mattresses – which are now supported by new color box packaging. Additionally, Boyd will be showing its UPS-shippable platform bed and adjustable base programs at market.
“We are very excited about the Groove Collection,” said Denny Boyd, president of Boyd Sleep. “This is the first time we have created a collection that extends across all our product categories.”
The new Groove collection features two memory foam mattresses in five- and seven-inch profiles that are expected to retail from $199 to $249. A brightly colored tie-dye top distinguishes the Groove inflatable bed, which will retail for $39 in twin and $49 in full size. Set to retail at $99, the Groove Rollup Bed features three inches of cooling gel memory foam layered onto comfort foam. The Groove foldaway bed features a Gellux and polyurethane foam mattress on spring suspension and is set to retail at $149. The Groove platform bed is 47” tall and features tie-dye upholstered linen. Retailing for $229, the bed is offered in twin and ships in just one box. Boyd rounded out the new Groove assortment with cluster memory foam pillows that will retail for $39.
In addition to the Groove collection, Boyd will also unveil key updates to its Broyhill Symmetry Memory Foam, Broyhill Natural Posture Hybrids and Boyd Sleep Ventura Memory Foam and Sensaflex Engineered Latex line-ups – including new mattress specifications and color “mattress in a box” packaging.
The Ventura Memory Foam Line has been updated with two new 12-inch models. The first is a premium mattress that features an Ice Fiber fabric cover, two inches of Air Flow Gel memory foam, two inches of gel infused engineered latex and patented edge support. This new mattress is set to retail at $499 queen. Expected to retail at $399, the second mattress introduction features a contemporary stretch knit zipper cover, two inches of open-cell memory foam layered onto three inches of Gellux engineered latex and a seven-inch high-density foam base.
Boyd is also introducing two new mattresses in its Sensaflex engineered latex foam line. Both models feature 12 inch profiles that include two inches of Gellux engineered latex foam, two inches of reflexive engineered latex and an eight-inch high-density foam base. Set to retail at $499 in queen, the premium option features an Ice Fiber fabric cover – while the second mattress features a contemporary stretch knit zipper cover and will retail for $399.
In addition to a wide range of new inflatable guest beds, Boyd Sleep will also showcase new additions to its Accent Furniture line: the “Milan” platform bed and the ready-to-assemble “Madrid” knock-down headboard. The “Milan” is a contemporary linen platform bed available in grey, charcoal, off-white and red. Expected to retail at $249, this new bed assembles in less than 15 minutes and ships in a single box. The “Madrid” is a tufted three-panel linen headboard that will retail for $99 in queen. With patent pending collapsible legs, the “Madrid” is ready to assemble and easy to ship via UPS.
Boyd’s final Las Vegas Market introduction is an update to the Boyd Sleep Zero Clearance Adjustable bed frame. Whether used on a platform or storage bed, this specially engineered frame is 33% lighter than traditional adjustable bases while still offering heavy duty lift capacity and including extra support legs. Retailing for $899, the base can be sent via UPS to the dealer or to the consumer.
