Serta Simmons Bedding, LLC (SSB) recently announced the appointment of Melanie Huet as chief marketing officer, following an extensive search. The appointment was effective January 22. Huet will report to SSB CEO Michael Traub.

“With the growth of the DTC segment and increasing competitiveness in traditional retail, the need to differentiate and build brand awareness across our house of brands has never been greater. I am excited to have Melanie join SSB and lead this effort,” said SSB CEO Michael Traub. “She will strengthen all our great brands and evaluate new opportunities to reach customers more directly,” Traub added.
In addition to Huet’s previous roles with Kraft Heinz, she held brand management leadership roles with Kimberly-Clark and Unilever.
