As a Certified B Corporation, Malouf recently launched its “Sleep with a Purpose” campaign during National B Corp Month to raise awareness of its triple bottom line of planet, people and profits. The marketing campaign focuses on the company’s product line, with sustainable options (including sheet sets made from Tencel Lyocell fibers and pillows infused with bamboo charcoal), that benefits consumers’ health, comfort and well-being, plus supports the Malouf Foundation’s flagship cause to end child sexual exploitation.
Malouf Marketing Director Scott Carr said, “Research shows 66 percent of consumers are willing to pay more for goods from socially responsible brands, and we’re committed to aligning our business approach with their values.” He continued, “We created the ‘Sleep with a Purpose’ campaign to educate our audience on how Malouf products can give them a great night’s rest, and how by purchasing a Malouf product, they’re helping children through the Malouf Foundation. Every time a customer goes to sleep at night, they can rest easy knowing they’ve made a difference.”
Consumer Purchases Support Malouf Foundation Mission
Each time a customer purchases a Malouf product, Malouf donates a significant portion of the proceeds to the Malouf Foundation’s mission to confront child sexual exploitation through education, healing and justice. From the beginning, the Malouf Foundation has committed to 100 percent flow-through, which means every dollar donated to the charity directly benefits survivors of child sexual exploitation and trafficking.
Kacie Malouf, co-founder of Malouf and chair of the Malouf Foundation, shared, “We became a B Corp in 2019 to solidify our commitment to helping people sleep better and to allow us to continue making impactful changes. We strive to uphold a high standard of social accountability and build awareness on how businesses can stand for something bigger than just a product or service.”
