Magniflex To Unveil MagniCool Collection In An “Igloo” At Las Vegas Market

Magniflex will unveil its updated MagniCool collection in an igloo-inspired, temperature-controlled room at the summer Las Vegas Market. The line, which addresses the issue of “sleeping hot,” features three modernized models with a new design. All introductions include a cool-to-the-touch cover designed with the latest in phase-changing materials (PCM).

“When we created the MagniCool line, it was the first of our products to incorporate phase-changing materials,” said Billy Curtright, national sales manager for Magniflex USA. “When you lie on the bed, the energy from your body creates a cooling sensation, which is instant, but also lasts the entire night. It’s incredibly high-tech. We’ve heard from consumers and retailers how it’s ‘the coolest thing they ever felt,’ and we’re looking forward to the feedback at Market.”

About MagniCool

The MagniCool collection, which is now available at retailers all over the country, includes three revamped models: a 10-inch firm, 10-inch soft and 12-inch gel. The refreshed models include a layer of PCM, which works to provide a dynamic response to temperature. This combination of advanced technologies releases energy that creates a cooling sensation when your body hits the mattress. The 10-inch queen models retail at $2,199 and the 12-inch queen gel model retails at $2,399.

Each model features an ornate cover design with an iris, the symbol of the Florence, which is incorporated in the company’s logo and other products. The new design is also complemented by a solid blue base to represent the signature blue color in the logo.

“Because we’re an Italian company, we wanted to pay homage to our hometown and the flower of Florence was the perfect, personalized touch,” Curtright explained. “Phase-changing materials have been available for several years but have been lacking in the what you can do with them, color- and style-wise. We wanted to transform your typical mattress cover.”

Inside Magniflex’s “Ice Room”

The updated collection will debut in an “ice room” at Magniflex’s Las Vegas showroom. The self-contained, temperature-controlled room was created to demonstrate the innovative cooling properties of the MagniCool collection.

“It feels like you’re going into an igloo,” Curtright added. “We wanted to create an entire vibe with this collection so it really stands out.”
