On September 17th, the first “Bedgear Performance Bedding” shop-within-a-shop made its debut at Nebraska Furniture Mart’s Kansas City store. This retail experience was uniquely crafted as an informative and entertaining environment that highlights an active lifestyle. The easy-to-navigate design invites customers to peruse an extensive assortment of Bedgear performance pillows, sheets, mattress protectors, and baby and youth bedding.
“We are extremely excited to open our first retail space in one of Nebraska Furniture Mart’s key galleries,” explained Eugene Alletto, Founder & CEO of Bedgear. “This relationship provides us with an incredible opportunity to further increase awareness for performance bedding while engaging with our customers in an entertaining way.
The new shop allows customers to engage with the interactive tech wall, which houses LCD touchscreens that showcase the product technologies, features and benefits. Additionally, customers can “find their fit” for a personalized performance pillow using Bedgear’s virtual Pillow ID selector. This state-of-the-art technology uses key information on an individual’s sleep style, body type and mattress to help determine the right pillow for them.

This innovative retail marketing approach is reflected in Bedgear’s market presence as well. The company recently unveiled a renovated High Point Market showroom, its first expansion since debuting at the market in the spring of 2014.
