Wright Global Graphics Invest $3 Million To Bolster Service Offerings

Wright Global Graphics Solutions has invested more than $3 million in new state-of-the-art equipment to enable it to offer new services to its growing client base.

Dedicated to building upon its “bigger, better, faster” workflow philosophy, the company reports it has purchased nine new pieces of equipment, including new, high-end digital presses in both its Dalton, GA and Thomasville, NC plants. These high-tech presses increase production capability and offer dramatic improvements in quality over the previous generations of machinery. Wright recently debuted its customized $1.5 million eight-color Mark Andy P5 press and has now invested in the EFI VUTEk Qs3 Pro wide format printer, which increases speed, offers an additional width capacity of up to three meters and boasts higher quality results. The company has also added several looms that effectively increase job capacity by 30% and reduce turnaround time on their popular woven labels. Wright remains one of the only companies to produce woven labels domestically in the US.

“One of the things that sets our company apart is our ability to embrace new technology and make investments to help our customers present their products in more dynamic ways. With this new equipment, we have the ability to offer a wide range of custom products across divisions with new value-added techniques and styles varying from high–demand, cold-foil stamping and inline screen-printing for our food and beverage packaging options, to eye-catching customizable top of bed and showroom displays for our bedding unit,” said Chairman & Senior Vice President of Business Development Don Wright. “Our expanded capabilities, which we plan to continue building upon, will bring customers the ultimate in graphic flexibility to help them stand out in a crowded marketplace.”

About Wright Global Graphics: Bill and Tom Wright founded Wright of Thomasville, now known as Wright Global Graphic Solutions, in 1961 on the idea that printing was a creative medium and the belief that “a promise made is a promise kept.” The Wright brothers focused their attention on providing exceptional printing for the home furnishing, carpet and rug industries. The Wright family continues that tradition today to include solutions for the Action Sports and Beverage Industry by providing one-stop, turnkey, creative solutions for their clients’ graphic needs. Today, the company is run by Bill’s sons Greg, Don and Ron. With 192 employees and four domestic facilities, as well as a Wright Global Graphics plant in China, the company delivers on its promise of exceptional value, and accurate delivery, regardless of the product’s final destination.
