With the direct intention of becoming an expanding, more comprehensive and efficient resource to their retail and manufacturing mattress and bedding customers, W. Silver Products is now offering a line of adjustable beds that are powered by Ergomotion.
“We partnered with Ergomotion to distribute their adjustable beds to our furniture store and sleep shop channel of distribution,” states Brent Polunsky, Bedding Support Sales Manager for W. Silver Products.
“This partnership allows us to be a leader in both categories: bed frames and supports, and also, adjustable beds.” Explaining what he refers to as a “Win-Win-Win opportunity”, Polunsky says that Ergomotion, W. Silver Products and their retailer customers all benefit from this new distribution agreement. Polunsky explains that over the years W.
Silver Products has offered a diverse and complete line of stationary bedding support products and accessory items. “The addition of Ergomotion adjustable beds to our product offerings completes the picture by permitting W. Silver Products to be a single source for mattress and bedding retailers. Through this distribution agreement, we become a better resource to our customers. Bed frames and adjustable beds go to the same customer and can go on the same order shipment. We can ship the bases with our bed frames or by themselves, whatever the retailer requires.”
Adjustable-sleep products are a growing product category, and “more dealers are realizing that it takes no more square footage on their retail floor to show a higher margin, added-value, lifestyle-focused adjustable base than it does to display a flat foundation,” Polunsky explains. “Consumer demand is increasing in the lifestyle and comfort marketplace. It means increased sales and margins for the mattress retailer.”
Polunsky notes that W. Silver Products is a distinctly strong partner for Ergomotion as well. “We are unique in the fact that we operate our own steel mill in El Paso, TX. We are the only bed frame manufacturer in the US that owns and operates its own steel mill. This allows us to control our quality and cost so we can provide the highest quality product to our customers at the best possible prices. We are also ISO9001 Certified. Our tagline for stationary frames has been, “Why not buy your bed frames direct from the mill?”
Polunsky observes that the partnership allows W. Silver Products to be a leader in both categories: stationary bed frames and adjustable beds.
Noting that Ergomotion is a proven leader in the industry in both quality and innovation, the W.Silver Products distribution network of sales representatives and dealers will allow Ergomotion to reach a new channel of distribution. Polunsky states, “Ergomotion currently provides bases to Serta® under the name iComfort, along with other major mattress branded manufacturers. By partnering with them, W.
Silver Products can utilize Ergomotion’s current customer service network and simply sell the products. We do not have to worry about the back end support that is always so important with this type of product. It is really a win-win-win situation for both companies and our retail customers.”
“Bottom line,” says Polunsky, “Ergomotion can reach a channel of distribution that they are currently not servicing, and we can sell a proven product with proven support that is recognized throughout the industry.”
