Vispring Spotlights Craftmanship At High Point Market Events

Vispring will host two exciting events at the fall High Point Market that spotlight its unwavering commitment to craftsmanship. Both events will take place in the company’s new market showroom, giving attendees the opportunity to see how Vispring delivers supreme luxury and a peaceful night’s sleep through high quality, handmade mattresses.

The first market event includes two days of live demonstrations, in which a Vispring expert craftsman will showcase the company’s side-stitching process to demonstrate the level of detail and care that goes into each Vispring Bed. On Sunday morning, Vispring will also host “Design Unleashed”—a champagne celebration that honors designers and their pets. For this event, the company invited seven top interior designers to create custom pet beds that will demonstrate the connection between pets and the elegant homes in which they live.

Quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail is what Vispring is all about. Designers cater to the entire household when they are designing a project, which often includes the pets. We asked designers who all have their own pets to come up with a custom bed that would reflect their pooch’s personalities. The company invited a group of dog loving designers that include Michelle Nussbaumer, Mally Skok, Lisa Mende, Sam Allen, Mitchell Hill, Andrea Schumacher, Cloth & Kind and Jonathan Savage. Textile and fabric companies including Mally Skok, Robert Allen, Peter Fasano and Pollack are thrilled to offer their fabrics to the designers to use for the dog beds.

“We understand how important the quality of a good night’s sleep is to our clients including important members of their family,” said Hugh Landes, US Director of Sales for Vispring. “Our adored pets should have custom space too, so why not create something just as luxurious for them. We can’t wait to connect with these designers and see their creations at the foot of a Vispring bed.”

The beds created for Design Unleashed will be donated to the Companion Animal Alliance, the adoption arm of the Baton Rouge Animal Shelter. After the recent devastating floods in Baton Rouge, the number of animals that came into the shelters were in the thousands and as a result the CAA’s budget took a huge hit. The beds will in turn be auctioned off at the CAA Fur Ball, an event to raise money for the care and adoption of shelter animals in south Louisiana.
