The Specialty Sleep Association Partners With Relief Bed & The Salvation Army
In preparation for the winter 2022 Las Vegas Market, the Specialty Sleep Association is partnering with Relief Bed International and The Salvation Army to make retailer visits to the SSA Sleep Pavilion support an important cause.
For every buying group that scans into the SSA Sleep Pavilion, Relief Bed will build and deliver one bed with a cap of 500 beds. By simply walking into showroom C1565, bedding and mattress retailers can make a difference and support those impacted by future emergencies. The SSA’s tagline for this new initiative is: “when you’re here (C1565), you’re helping.”
Relief Bed agreed to ship beds as needed to The Salvation Army, even if an emergency requiring beds happens before Market. The organization has already answered the call by shipping 100 beds to the Salvation Army for fire victims on January 6th, 2022.
“The Salvation Army is an extraordinary organization and we are excited to support their efforts,” said Relief Bed International Founder Scott Smalling, “we hope the SSA’s traffic is strong so we can maximize the commitment to the Salvation Army,” Smalling continued. SSA Executive Director Tambra Jones agrees. “It is so exciting that our project has already sent beds for a fire disaster to the Salvation Army. We thank our Sleep Pavilion exhibitors for their support and donations to this project.”
