Company Chairman Charles Neal announced that Symbol’s Board of Directors has promoted Ron Clevenger to Chief Executive Officer and Mike McQuiston to President.

Clevenger has served as company president since

2012 and McQuiston joined Symbol in 2010 as executive vice president.

“Both men have been instrumental in the renewed growth of Symbol, and we have every confidence in their performance going forward,” Neal said.

Commenting on the restructuring, Clevenger explained that in 2013, Symbol’s executive team developed a five-year plan to reposition the image of the company and brand.

“We set very aggressive goals and metrics to measure our progress,” he said. “With the addition of key personnel in sales, marketing, operations and finance, we are now ahead of that timeline and have seen tremendous success, particularly over the last 12 months.

“Transitioning upper management was a critical component of the plan and we’re very excited about the future of Symbol and our growing partnerships with retailers.”
