Spring Air’s Back Supporter Natalie mattress earned a top performance rating in the memory foam category as tested and reported by Consumer Reports, the most trusted independent product testing entity in the world.
The Natalie model was ranked No. 2 in a list of 10 memory foam beds made by major bedding brands that included Tempur-Pedic, Sealy and Serta. Spring Air’s bed received a score of 64, reflecting Consumer Reports’ performance results in areas like side-sleeping and back-sleeping, durability and stabilization. Scores in the memory foam mattress segment were reported as low as 57 and as high as 69.
Consumer Reports also tested and ranked nine innerspring models scoring from 58 to 72, plus three adjustable air beds. A total of 26 mattresses were tested—and the 22 with the best scores were published in the report.
The Back Supporter Natalie bed also was checked as “Recommended” by the magazine and credited in the report for resisting side-to-side bounciness (sleep partner disturbance) and for ease of movement.
“We’re pleased to have a very high-scoring bed among the total mattresses that were tested by Consumer Reports—the nation’s best-known and most respected consumer products review publication,” noted Spring Air president Rick Robinson. “When you consider the millions of Consumer Reports subscribers—both print and online—it’s an excellent endorsement of your product quality and performance, as well as your brand name.”
