Shifman Names Dave Trillet Salesperson Of The Year

Shifman Mattresses, a leader in luxury, handcrafted mattress manufacturing, celebrated sales excellence for the 17th consecutive year by naming industry veteran Dave Trillet 2018 Salesperson of the Year.

A 15-month freshman at Shifman but a 31-year veteran of the mattress industry, Trillet was recognized during the company sales meeting held at the recent High Point Market and presented with a beautiful plaque and generous monetary gift by Shifman’s president, Bill Hammer and National Sales Manager Ed Reardon.

Trillet joined Shifman in January 2018 as Midwest territory sales manager and serves customers across seven states. He previously held sales roles at bedding majors Sealy, Serta, Simmons and Restonic.

“Dave excelled in his 2018 territory sales numbers, but our criteria for Salesperson of the Year Award is not just tied to numbers,” said Reardon. “Shifman Mattresses is a family-owned company based on dedication and integrity. Dave earned Salesperson of the Year with his dedication to his retailers and their success with the utmost character."

Shifman awards sales excellence based on four criteria: overall territory sales revenue, client acquisition rates, existing client engagement and contributions to the overall success of the team.

“It is truly a testament to Dave’s dedication and expertise to earn this esteemed award in the first year of service, and it is my privilege each year to honor what makes the ‘Shifman Difference’ among our sales team,” said Hammer.
