Robert Patten Appointed VP of Sales for Boyd Specialty Sleep
Bedding industry veteran Robert Patten has been appointed east coast vice president of sales for Boyd Specialty Sleep, announced company president Denny Boyd.
Patten, who’s based in Atlanta, will begin his new post on July 27 and will attend the upcoming Las Vegas Market.
Reporting to Boyd, Patten will be responsible for sales and sales development of the company’s specialty sleep products—which include bedding and sleep accessories under the newly licensed Thomasville® and Broyhill® brands—as well as Boyd’s Accent Furniture products, across 16 eastern states including eastern Pennsylvania.
“Robert has extensive experience in our industry and over the years has made many great contacts,” noted Boyd. “He’ll be a valuable asset to our company and we look forward to his contributions.”
Before joining Boyd, Patten had served as senior vice president of sales since 2011 for Advanced Sleep Concepts, a regional producer and Englander licensee based in Rome, Ga.
