Reverie will take the innovation it has been delivering to the bedding industry to a larger audience by showing at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January. This is the company’s first time participating in CES, the largest global technology show in the world.
“CES is the holy grail for creative companies from tech powerhouses to innovative startups from all aspects of industry include audio, 3D printing, automotive and more,” said Martin Rawls-Meehan, president and CEO of Reverie. “Our creative approach to using technology in our products aligns us with other cutting-edge leaders in product development. CES is the perfect venue for us to showcase our creations.”
A well-established leader in sleep technology and proponent of quality sleep, Reverie sees CES as a venue for exposing the company to a wider audience and promoting its wealth of innovative products that incorporate technology to help consumers attain better sleep hygiene.
At the show, Reverie will unveil its Bed of the Future that incorporates some of the latest consumer technology into the sleep arena. The bed’s adjustability is controlled through brain wave activity, and the technology provides the opportunity for highly accurate sleep monitoring using brain wave measurement. Other monitoring designs use actigraphy technology using a tracker worn on the wrist. The bed also offers zonal sound allowing each partner to customize the sound to their side, and voice command controls, eliminating the need for a remote control. Other unique creature features include individualized foot warmers to prevent chilly toes and pressure map technology to deliver targeted support and adjusted positioning.
CES, held each year in Las Vegas for the $292 billion U.S. consumer technology industry, is where leading technology companies unveil their latest innovation. In addition to attracting a notable who’s-who from the technology sector, the show garners media attention from around the world. This year’s CES will run Jan. 9-12 and boasts more than 3,900 exhibitors across three different locations in Las Vegas. More than 170,000 attendees will take part in the four-day show.
