Pure LatexBLISS Asks Industry to Promote End It Movement

End It LogoForward thinking, Pure LatexBLISS aims to raise awareness about modern-day slavery by encouraging others to support the “End It” movement. The campaign’s website reports that 27 million men, women and children are working as slaves in 161 countries, including the United States.

According to End It sources, the individuals enslaved are forced to work in factories, quarries and brothels. Most are victims of human trafficking. The campaign notes that one of the first steps to stopping modern-day slavery is to share the message of its existence. That prompted the campaign’s creation of a “Red X” logo to serve as a conversation-starter, and it is quickly becoming ubiquitous with today’s challenge to create awareness and end slavery.

“When we learned about this crisis we felt compelled to act,” said Pure LatexBLISS President Kurt Ling. “Raising awareness is the first step to eradicating modern day slavery. One year from now I believe we’ll look around and see this Red X everywhere.”

Pure LatexBLISS,has added the movement’s logos to its website, pledged to provide End It’s logo and posters to retailers who requests it and asks others in the industry to join them by doing the same. We believe Pure LatexBLISS is the first in the bedding industry to join the “End It” campaign and commend them for doing so.
