The Malouf Foundation launched the official OnWatch Toolkit during its third bi-annual Forging Freedom event at Las Vegas Market. With all-new content, this kit has the essential tools for businesses to get involved with the foundation’s flagship cause to end child sex trafficking through the OnWatch campaign.
During Forging Freedom, attendees heard from a bedding and furniture industry retailer, organizational director and small business owner who shared their experiences with the OnWatch campaign—specifically how holding an OnWatch event has helped them spread the word about this important cause. Afterward, Forging Freedom attendees were invited to host their own event.
“We appreciate everyone who supported this event, whether attending in person or watching from home,” said Sam Malouf, co-founder and president of the Malouf Foundation. “Now you can use these tools to raise awareness and make a difference wherever you live.”
To get started, businesses can access the OnWatch Toolkit on the Malouf Foundation website. Inside is an event checklist with step-by-step instructions on how to successfully execute an OnWatch event from start to finish. Other assets in the toolkit include social media images, press materials, and videos. These resources and more are now available for download at malouffoundation.org/about/events/#forgingfreedom.
“I’m so grateful for the OnWatch training and these educational materials,” said Diana Hoyt, a speaker at Forging Freedom representing Deep Water Home and Electronics. “I encourage everyone to take the training then find other ways to get their business involved and make a difference in their community.”
The Malouf Foundation launched the OnWatch campaign last July during its bi-annual Forging Freedom event at Las Vegas Market. As part of the campaign, the foundation partnered with Operation Underground Railroad to create a unique training program that educates people on the signs of child sex trafficking.
