For National American Heart Month, Malouf is teaming up with the American Heart Association (AHA) for its Life Is Why We Give campaign. These two organizations will work together to increase awareness about the heart-health benefits of sleep as well as raise funds to help fight heart disease and stroke.
“At Malouf, we believe a good night’s rest is key to living a healthier life,” said Scott Carr, brand manager for Malouf. “Research tells us that heart disease and stroke are leading causes of death in the U.S. and that sleep deprivation can be a contributing factor. That’s why we want to promote the importance of sleep and how it can lead to better heart health.”
From now through April, Malouf will also donate a percentage of sales to the AHA, which will support the organization’s ongoing research, training and education efforts.

In March, Malouf will attend the AHA’s annual Go Red for Women luncheon. Attendees are invited to talk with a representative and test some of the company’s innovative sleep products.
