Logicdata has appointed bedding industry veteran Michael Nermon to support outside sales in North America. Nermon will be working with brick-and-mortar retailers, e-commerce dealers and bedding manufacturers who want to expand their adjustable bed business and engage new channels of distribution.
Nermon started his bedding career as VP of Sales and Marketing for Maxwell Products, a pioneering manufacturer in the adjustable bed industry. After the company was acquired by Leggett and Platt, Nermon moved to retail and founded Ergo Bedroom, the industry’s first high-end specialty bedding boutique and inaugural recipient of Furniture Today’s Retail Giants of Bedding award.
“Michael’s varied industry experience and unique retail IQ adds an important facet in our quest to be the preferred adjustable base supplier in the American bedding industry,” said Georg Hoefler, business development manager at Logicdata. “We are committed to supporting our business partners at all levels, and Michael’s retailing expertise will be a great asset to our customers. His extensive experience with adjustable beds and consumers also gives us a greater depth of knowledge in the American market.”
“I am inspired to be associated with this world-class company,” Nermon remarked. “Logicdata’s industry leading innovations provide a reliable, high quality e-commerce solution as well as an affordable adjustable base alternative for brick-and-mortar dealers. I look forward to helping retailers and manufacturers meet the challenges of today’s changing marketplace, and developing programs that will reinforce their profitability in the adjustable bed category.”
