Leggett & Platt Announces the Sleep Geek Daily Game Grand Prize Winner
CARTHAGE, MO –Leggett & Platt® is proud to announce the Sleep Geek Daily Game Grand Prize winner and launch of Feed the Geek. Sleep-Geek.com exists to give thousands of bedding retail sales associates (RSAs) and managers a forum to learn, discuss issues, share tips and collaborate with other RSAs around the country to make more money. Sleep Geek launched in May, and has become the largest and only online sleep industry community, and continues to grow.
Leggett & Platt is proud to announce the Sleep Geek Grand Prize winner: Collin Cook of Blacker’s in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Cook won the Sleep Geek Daily Game eighteen times over one hundred days, making him its top winner. In addition to his Daily Game earnings of over $1,800, he has now won $10,000 as the Grand Prize winner! Cook will keep $5,000 and $5,000 will go to Blacker’s. A formal check presentation to Cook will take place later this fall.
“Collin was exactly what we are looking for in a Sleep Geek: dedicated to the bedding industry and his role as an RSA, and with a constant desire to improve and influence,” said Mark Quinn, segment vice president of marketing for Leggett & Platt’s residential furnishings segment. “He played virtually every day with the intent of becoming a better RSA, and earned money along the way. We will be releasing more about Collin’s remarkable story later in the fall.”
With the Daily Game concluding, Sleep Geek is now asking members to “Feed the Geek,” in addition to interacting with the community’s forums, polls, entertainment and other existing content. For “Feed the Geek,” a Sleep Geek head has been placed on the home page of the website, asking members to contribute ideas about the Sleep Geek community and the bedding industry to the Geek’s brain for consideration.
