HomTex Names New Vice President of Marketing & Account Management

HomTex Inc., manufacturer of the DreamFit, FitRit and Suprelle brands of pillows, sheets and mattress pads, names Cindy Williams as VP of Marketing and Account Management, a new position.

Williams is responsible for developing and facilitating marketing plans for the specialty sleep and retail divisions at HomTex, which include branding, advertising and communications, as well as managing trade efforts during the Las Vegas and New York markets in the company's two showrooms.

Williams reports to Jeremy Wootten, HomTex president, and to Jerry Wootten, the company’s founder and CEO.

Prior to HomTex, Williams held senior level sales, branding and marketing positions in the home furnishings industry.  Most recently she was VP of Sales for Showroom Solutions at Wright Global Graphics. She served as VP of Client Services for Info Retail, Inc., where she led the business development team. In the bedding segment, Williams held the Senior VP of Marketing title for Comfort Solutions.

“As a past client, we experienced first hand Cindy’s personal commitment to strategic planning and excellence in execution,” said Jeremy Wootten. “HomTex is poised to expand branding efforts in our specialty sleep and retail businesses, and we are confident in the vision and leadership Cindy brings to the table.”

HomTex recently announced a $4 million investment in new manufacturing facilities in Alabama, which it expects will grow its domestic production capacity by at least three-fold, according to Wootten.
