High Point Market Update

High Point’s Spring Market is going well with retail buyers scouring showrooms to seeking out products they can sell to their customers. Manufacturers continue to enhance their lines, extending collections, and unveiling new add-ons allowing retailers to deliver more to their consumers. With these additions, and hints of big reveals to come, these are our highlights from High Point.

Ashley Sleep

The advanced memory foam collection from Ashley Sleep offers comfortable mattresses complete with the company’s Torso Tec lumbar support layer. This layer is designed to contour to a body’s shape, providing support without unwanted pressure points.

Blu Sleep Products

We were excited to see Blu Sleep’s complete pillow collection — from aloe vera to mallow extract or eucalyptus, each pillow in the Nature Series offers a unique sleep experience!

Classic Brands

The redesigned PostureCloud is now customizable to your store. The four-sku collection is available in blue or tan allowing retailers to capture the attention of a wider range of consumers with the mattress collection. While viewing the PostureCloud, we also saw Seahawk Designs’ latest bedframe with customizable headboards and the company’s innovative under-bed storage systems.

Comfortaire

The Euro Elite, the low profile option in the company’s Elite Series, includes proprietary Top AirlTM /Edge to Edge Air technology positioning air at the surface of the mattress where it gently cushions each unique body shape providing proper postural alignment.

Enso Sleep Systems

Enso sleep continues to expand its memory foam mattress collections introducing the 16” Moselle memory foam with 3 inches of baffled premium memory foam clusters. Further expansion is expected within the company’s pillow program too.

Fabrictech International

The expanded PureCare line offers retailers the opportunity to present an entire sleep solution for better, healthier sleep. With mattress and pillow protectors, five and six-sided encasement products and a complete line of dust mite and fungi resistant pillows, the company offers sleep environment solutions retailers can sell.

FXI

Embracing its corporate tagline – We Find Solutions – the company is due to launch its bed bug protector this summer. The bed bug protector positioned under the mattress utilizes natural ingredients to both trap and kill insects. The research and development driven company’s acquisition of Anatomic Global leads us to believe this isn’t the first innovation we’ll see from their bedding research.

Gold Bond Mattress Company

The family-owned, New England-based Gold Bond Mattress Company continues to impress with its innovative two-sided Sacro-Support encased coil mattress collection. Using Leggett & Platt’s new Softech Mini. Adding both support and resilience, the smaller 1.5-inch height, spring is ideally placed within Goldbond’s new Duchess and Baroness pillow-top mattresses with over 3,000 coils!

Jamison Bedding Company

Encased in the company’s proprietary JGelTM, Jamison’s new gel pillow offers consumers malleable ability to ensure their neck, shoulders, and head are adequately supported for their sleeping preferences.

Magniflex

Magniflex’s new Uno collection completes the package showcasing the Italian manufacturer’s craftsmanship and design with an affordable base and headboard option. The easy to assemble, collection offers a headboard and frame, with a variety of fabric and finish choices.

PalmPring Organic Mattress

Made from layers of recycled coconut husks and natural latex, the PalmPring mattress offers a firm, supportive mattress with organic cotton ticking. An organic wool and cotton topper can be added to customize the sleep experience.

Paramount Bedding

The company’s partnership with Dr. Maas allows for further sleep education for consumers. With a scheduled appearance at Mattress RX in NC, Dr. Maas will surely gain exposure for Paramount Sleep’s HD Mattress collection.

Sealy

Midwest-based KB Furniture and Mattress has received and is now selling the new Sealy Optimum line we first saw at the Winter Las Vegas Market. Supported by a full-scale cross-platform, multi-media campaign the Optimum collection goes nation-wide this July.

Serta

Continuing to improve and expand the iComfort collection, we saw new accessories in this impressive line. Driven by consumer demand and retailer feedback, the company has expanded its iComfort pillow collection to include more options with its new scrunch pillows.
