Englader’s India-Based Licensee Expands U.S. Bedding Brand’s Distribution

SA Bedding Company Ltd. of India, a well-established licensee of Englander Sleep Products, has added the countries of Sri Lanka and Maldives to its brand distribution, announced Kevin Toman, Englander president and CEO.

Manufacturing in Sri Lanka, which has maritime borders with India to the northwest, SA Bedding will ship Englander products throughout Sri Lanka and to Maldives, an island country and archipelago southwest of Sri Lanka.

Headed by CEO and director Ashok Sharma, SA Bedding became an Englander licensee in 2014. The company produces 10,000 mattresses a month from its four strategically-placed factories across India.

“Mr. Sharma is a well-known and highly respected bedding professional across India and the Middle East,” Toman noted. “We look forward to his success in expanding the distribution of the Englander name and products throughout these island countries.”
