Corsicana Mattress launched its NightsBridge brand of affordable luxury mattresses in the summer of 2019, thinking it would fill a gap between value and luxury beds that existed in the industry. But the COVID-19 pandemic that spread across America a few months later has led to an unexpected rise in sales as consumers re-deployed funds earmarked for vacations and clothing, and instead used them to upgrade their living environments.
“The NightsBridge brand has struck a chord with consumers who are seeking luxury mattresses made in the USA using quality materials, which do not strain their wallets,” said Davis Whitworth, senior director of business development of Corsicana and NightsBridge brand ambassador. “Demand for better home furnishings remains on the rise, but not all consumers can take the leap into high-priced luxury goods. NightsBridge allows bedding retailers to offer consumers more affordable options in the luxury segment and has given retailers the opportunity to boost their margins. NightsBridge provides retailers with a compelling mattress collection that checks a lot of boxes with consumers.”
Midnight & Nightfall
Two of the NightsBridge collections have stood out as strong performers at retail. The Midnight line, priced to retail for $2,499 for queen, and the Nightfall line of boxed mattresses, priced at $1,299, play a key role in establishing Corsicana’s place in the market as a manufacturer of affordable luxury bedding.
Both Midnight and Nightfall are two-model groupings. Midnight offers a luxury hybrid bed that measures 12 inches and a luxury memory foam mattress also measuring 12 inches. Made with a dual-choice cooling cover, the mattresses allow consumers to sleep at the right temperature for them. They also feature graphite-infused, high-density memory foam and high-density visco memory foam.
The Nightfall collection includes a firm-support 12-inch mattress and a luxury-comfort 12-inch mattress. Designed as boxed beds, they are manufactured using two-layer coil construction with both zoned coils and microcoils, along with graphite-infused, high-density memory foam.
The NightsBridge brand also includes the Twilight collection, an eight-model grouping of pillow-top, Euro-top, plush comfort and medium-feel mattresses in a variety of firmness levels, ranging from $1,299 to $1,999 in queen.
