BEDGEAR Expands Its Public Relations Team

To support continuous growth, global performance lifestyle brand, BEDGEAR, expanded its Public Relations Department by building a full in-house PR team. The robust team includesDirector of Public Relations, Faith Paris, Alison Hartman in the role of Senior PR Manager, Marisa Spano as PR Associate and Taylor Alletto as PR Assistant.

In Paris’ role as the Director of PR, she is responsible for overseeing the Public Relations Department and managing domestic and global communications efforts for the company. In order to build the BEDGEAR brand across various audiences, she ensures consistency in messaging within all marketing disciplines of the company. Prior to joining BEDGEAR, Paris led PR programs for Proctor & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Dannon, Kodak and Listerine. She will be reporting directly to Shana Rocheleau, VP of Strategy.

As Senior PR Manager, Hartman oversees the day-to-day implementation of public relations and internal communications. A veteran media professional, Hartman began her career at Ogilvy & Mather and Hunter PR before moving in-house for BaubleBar and She will manage PR activations promoting BEDGEAR’s events and sports partnerships in coordination with the brand’s overarching media strategies. In addition to providing managerial support and creative strategy, both Hartman and Paris will manage BEDGEAR’s international accounts and ensure that communications efforts are aligned with BEDGEAR’s vision and business goals. Hartman will be reporting directly to Paris, Director of Public Relations.

Spano, recently promoted to Public Relations Associate, will be leading the execution of media activities around BEDGEAR’s Performance Sleep Shop installations. She will also be proactively managing media relations efforts, helping to build visibility for the brand. This includes overseeing BEDGEAR’s award submissions on behalf of the company, its employees and innovative product offerings.

Alletto rounds out the team with a focus on internal communications and corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives. She is directly responsible for spearheading BEDGEAR’s latest CSR campaign and the research and development of thought leadership opportunities for senior management. She will also be providing needed support for media functions and events. Both Spano and Alletto will be reporting directly to Paris.

These hires are reflective of the year-on-year growth the company is experiencing. BEDGEAR's focus for 2018 is on growing its brand awareness as it launches more direct to consumer marketing initiatives. Paris’ team will drive this strategy and its impactful storytelling as the company continues to expand into new product categories and new markets.
