Malouf Expands Container Direct Programs For Retail Partners

Malouf is expanding its mixed container direct program to accommodate large retail partners. By shipping containers directly to partner warehouses, Malouf offers even more competitive pricing options for best-selling items.

“Our container direct program is a great opportunity for our retail partners to order large volumes of their highest-selling items at our most aggressive pricing,” said Jordan Haws, Malouf’s director of supply chain. “We are continuing to develop our consolidation options to allow customers to order the right mix of products for their specific needs. For example, they could order a combination of adjustable bed bases, like the Structures E450, M550, and S750 to fill a container.”

Malouf allows partners to choose between managing their own container shipments or having Malouf coordinate it for them. Malouf’s team of supply chain experts understands customs, regulations, and trade laws, and they use this knowledge to negotiate the lowest prices. Haws said, “You don’t have to have an in-house logistics team to qualify for this program. We have the ability to ship right to your door. Place your order and we’ll take it from there.” By shipping directly to a retail partner, Malouf cuts out the expense to inventory product—a benefit they pass to retail partners.

FFO Home has been using the program for nearly two years, mostly for adjustable bed bases and furniture. Malouf will continue to develop their program based on customer demand.
