Leggett & Platt Unveils New Products at High Point
Leggett & Platt is set to introduce new products at the fall High Point Market, including a unique adjustable bed base and four new beds that incorporate a variety of styles and finishes.
The new C-010 Adjustable Bed Base from the Leggett & Platt Adjustable Bed Group offers an affordable, light-weight adjustable base solution for the bedroom. The bed’s unique design looks like a box spring and is more than 30% lighter than conventional adjustable bed bases. The C-010 includes convenient and luxurious head-up support at the touch of a button. This Comfort Series bed is upholstered in microsuede fabric with color choices designed to complement almost any décor or color palette. The ultra-quiet motor supports a total maximum weight capacity of 600 pounds, yet the bed’s light-weight design is easy to move and allows it to fit on a standard bed frame, with a center support required for full and queen sizes.
Also new for High Point are four beds from the Leggett & Platt Consumer Products Group. The Calvados bed features a French country style that blends European elegance with warm, country styling. The woven texture of the sand-colored fabric is accented by a unique, Natural Oak finish, which is applied to the metal portions of the bed. The Calvados is available as a complete bed with side rails and slats or as a headboard only in queen, king and California king sizes. Approximate Retail Price is expected to be $599 for a Queen size.
The transitional styling of the Dalton Bed is enhanced by clean lines that give it both masculine and feminine appeal. The upward curve of the top rail on the headboard is contrasted with the downward curve of the top rail on the footboard. Both top rails end in single scrolls which are accented by solid castings. It is finished in Speckled Gold with a protective lacquer coating to make it virtually maintenance free – just a light dusting with a soft cloth will keep it looking new for years to come. It is available as a complete bed or headboard only and comes in full, queen and king sizes. Approximate Retail Price is expected to be $299 for a Queen size.
The sophisticated styling of the Empress bed consists of heavy castings and intricate details that embellish the headboard and footboard, and enhance the appeal of this traditional style. Scrolled side rails give the bed an added touch of elegance. The Gilded Bronze finish will blend with a wide variety of case good finishes. The Empress is available as a complete bed with slats and center support in queen, king and California king sizes. Approximate Retail Price is expected to be $699 for a Queen size.
