International Bedding has a two-pronged strategy to provide exceptional values on its popular branded products and expand selling options with a new, quality latex topper program.
“We want to give retailers what they really need right now: aggressive values on quality mattress products that have lots of consumer appeal, plus new opportunities to generate additional business,” noted Jeff Maillet, International Bedding’s CEO.
“Our market presentations demonstrate the importance we place on helping retailersnot only attract more mattress sales, but benefit from highly profitable accessory sales.”
IB will present its latest series of aggressively-priced Europa® models from $799 to $1,599 in queen, plus a selection of “great value” beds that stores can merchandise and promote within their existing line-ups, noted Mark Wozniak, vice president of marketing.
“We had a terrific response to these striking value products in Las Vegas,” he said, “So we’re extending the opportunity. And we’re introducing our first topper offering in two comfort lev-els to give our retailers yet another means to drive business.”
The new IB-branded topper program includes a choice of two or three inches of premium Talalay latex in firm or plush. Available in standard sizes, the toppers feature a quality, superstretch knit cover.
“Latex toppers provide a much more comfortable, supportive and resilient feel than those made with memory foam,” Wozniak said. “This program will give our retailers even more comfort options to offer their customers.”
