HomTex Inc., manufacturer of the DreamFit luxury brand of pillows, sheets and mattress pads, debuts a duvet program consisting of covers and inserts during the Summer Las Vegas Market. An “easy fill” zipper innovation patented by the U.S.-based company distinguishes DreamFit duvet covers from competitive items. Duvet inserts feature the company’s exclusive Suprelle Fusion breathable fiber technology.
Based on a successful 7-degree selling system for sheets, the DreamFit grading scale helps dealers and their customers identify each product’s unique features and benefits, ranging from a ‘Basic’ designation at 1-degree to ‘Elite’ at the highest level. For the new duvet program, 21 SKUs will be offered to start.
At the 4-degree level, also called Preferred, four colors of contrasting welts are available on white base cloth in three standard sizes: Queen, King and California King. Made from 100 percent extra-long staple Egyptian cotton, suggested retail price points begin at $199.99 per set.
At the 6-degree or Superior product level, three colorways with matching welts are also available in Queen, King and California King sizes. Suggested retail pricing for these items starts at $219.99. Made using the branded fiber Tencel, product benefits include stay-dry and odor-resistant properties.
“Duvet covers are a natural progression for the DreamFit brand,” says Jeremy Wootten, president, HomTex. “The 7-degree system prominent in our branded retail display offers specialty sleep dealers a built-in communications tool for selling to their customers.”
The new duvet covers will be sold as sets; each cover includes a matching pair of shams. Duvet inserts are available in three sizes, to correlate with duvet covers. All SKUs will be stocked at HomTex U.S. manufacturing facilities.
