Glideaway® Sleep Products announced it is expanding its Sleepharmony pillow collection with the introduction of Blue Chill, its first gel pillow, debuting at the upcoming Las Vegas Market.
A fusion of gel and memory foam, the Blue Chill pillow combines the temperature regulating benefits of a gel layer with the comfort and support of responsive memory foam, which cradles the neck and head. With a layer of cool gel fused to the advanced memory foam, the pillow is specially designed to maintain a lower body temperature and reduce nighttime perspiration. Antimicrobial, dust-mite resistant, and hypoallergenic, the Blue Chill pillow also boasts a removable, machine-washable cooling cover.
“Accessories continue to represent a significant profit margin for retailers and we are always looking for ways to expand those offerings, providing customers with a range of high-quality product choices that address a variety of sleep preferences and needs,” said Glideaway Executive Vice President of Sales Ron Fredman. “The technology incorporated into our gel pillow offers a simple solution for consumers who are losing sleep as they struggle with ‘sleeping hot’ only to wake up in the middle of the night to flip their pillow looking for the ‘cool’ spot.”
The Blue Chill joins Glideaway’s current lineup of innovative Sleepharmony pillows, which includes All Seasons, an advanced memory foam pillow with a two-sided cover, the ultra-plush Oasis shredded natural latex pillow, the firm Cool Refresh and plush Clean Breeze natural latex pillows, and the Contour Deluxe memory foam pillow, which is approved to be used with medical sleeping devices.
