Fashion Bed Group Expands Innovative Accessories Portfolio

Fashion Bed Group is spicing things up in the bedroom with new bed styles designed to turn heads at the spring High Point Market. Minimalist glamour infuses the medley of new designs ranging in style from Mission to modern. The company will also showcase two new pillows and two unique bedding support offerings at market.

“Our newest beds showcase a mix of today’s most in-demand looks including industrial, modern and minimalist styles designed to appeal to designers and consumers alike,” said Ron Ainsworth, senior vice president of merchandising and procurement for Fashion Bed Group. “Our designers have paired strong cool metals with warm reclaimed wood looks to deliver some of the category’s most relevant and stylish offerings.”

Making its debut in High Point, the new Scottsdale bed delivers transitional styling at an exceptional price. Blending masculine and feminine accents, this eye-catching design features a headboard and footboard with sloping metal top rails and straight spindles in a Black Speckle finish. Four wooden corner posts in a rich Dark Espresso finish lend stunning visual contrast. The Scottsdale will retail at approximately $249 in Queen.

The company is also showcasing two beds first introduced at the winter market that have been modified based on customer feedback. Mixing minimalist glamour with modern sophistication, the Palmer bed features an upholstered, wingback-panel headboard and footboard, accented by exposed wood side rails. Another Las Vegas favorite restyled for High Point, the Barrington bed mixes turn-of-the-century and industrial design enhanced by a distinctive all-metal, multi-step finish that boasts depth and patina. The solid center panel in the headboard is accented by a circular medallion that adds elegance to this timeless silhouette. These two models will retail for $649 and $699, respectively.

In addition to the new bed styles, Fashion Bed Group will also highlight a wide range of its unique accessories offerings at the spring High Point Market. Building on the success of its Aere Memory Foam Pillow, the company will showcase two new pillows that use the latest in foam technology to deliver a more comfortable sleep experience.

The Graphite Gel Memory Foam Pillow delivers superior thermal regulation without compromising comfort. A triple-threat of temperature-regulating technology, this innovative cooling pillow combines open cell high air flow memory foam with therma-gel and super-conductive graphite. The new Energex Foam Pillow creates a comfort solution for consumers who love the feel of latex but also want the support of traditional memory foam. Providing comfort with a bounce, this option offers the lively response of latex foam with the superior pressure-relieving comfort of memory foam. Specifically designed to energize and slightly soften with body heat, the pillow provides highly adaptive comfort, ease of movement and excellent pressure relief. These new pillows will range in retail price from $99 to $119.

“Inspired by our solutions-based approach to fulfilling consumers’ needs,” Ainsworth explained, “we have developed two new pillows that not only address the major concerns of many sleepers but also provide our customers with the differentiated products they are seeking.”

Finally, Fashion Bed Group is also bringing two key bedding support systems to High Point: the Atlas Support and Storage System and the Solutions universal bed frame. A distinctive platform design, the Atlas delivers superior support for today’s mattresses without the need for a box spring. The easy-to-assemble solution requires no tools and offers a generous 14 inches of clearance under the bed – ideal for the optional under-the-bed storage drawers that are available with this system.

The Solutions universal bed frame offers all the support of a conventional frame, but in a lighter weight, foldable design that makes it easy to ship, set up and store. This unique system provides consumers with an economical, durable, and versatile solution to their bedding and storage needs.

“In addition to delivering thoughtful solutions that today’s consumers are seeking, these products are designed with quality and value in mind,” said Ainsworth. “Both feature aggressive pricing while also meeting or beating the stringent warranty requirements from bedding manufacturers.”
