Ergomotion unveils new concepts for 2012
On the heels of a successful year end with 2011 sales up 400% from the previous year, Ergomotion, Inc. revealed a fresh approach at this year’s market through new marketing and designs for the coming year. The Santa Barbara-based company introduced a heightened presence at the World Market Center this year with overhauled marketing material for 2012 featuring images from a recent lifestyle photo shoot by the renowned photographer Michael Haber. In their newly re-designed showroom, Ergomotion revamped their space to realize that same lifestyle theme with the goal of “bringing the pictures on the wall to life,” as described by President, Kelly Clenet. The actual products on their floor also showcased new designs including one-touch preset positions such as anti-snore, detachable sides for customization as well as contemporary fabrics and textures.
When asked what new trends he saw arise at market last week in the adjustable base arena, industry veteran and Ergomotion’s President of U.S. sales, Johnny Griggs had this to say, “We are experiencing a new focus on the category with the mattress manufacturers putting much more emphasis on developing a private type of program that would help them differentiate their brand. This gives us the opportunity to develop new and more innovative products for more mattress manufacturers.” And this concept is fundamental to Ergomotion accomplishing their company goal to become the industry’s top OEM supplier of adjustable bases.
Ergomotion is set to showcase these new designs again on an international stage at the upcoming ISPA Expo held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
