Earlier this week, on the eve of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee calibrations, luxury bed maker, Vi-Spring, announced the release of the HRH Diamond Jubilee mattress. The release comes shortly after Her Majesty awarded the British bed maker the prestigious Queen's Award for Excellence.
Vi-Spring's North American Director, Terence Bachor, commented, "We are extremely honoured to offer this incredible mattress, built to honour Her Majesty the Queen and to celebrate her 60 years as reigning Monarch. Our experience in designing and handcrafting luxury beds spans more than 110 years, being the company to patent the pocket sprung mattress in 1901, first company to offer a mattress warranty, first company to offer luxury mattresses to the steam ship industry and was on famous ships like the Titanic and Queen Mary. First company to offer a true Life-time warranty, first company to offer a double pocketed coil system, first company to offer an all wool mattress, first and only mattress manufacturer to obtain the Wool mark, first and only mattress manufacturer to win the House Beautiful Gold Award, and we continue to set the standard to this day. We believe the key to our success is our commitment to using expert craftsmanship, combined with our determination to using only the very best natural materials, to create an unparalleled product that is loved throughout the world."
Vi-Spring will make only 60 of the spectacular Jubilee mattresses and will offer them here in the United States just three months. This limited edition hand crafted mattress offers almost 4000 coils and the World's finest natural fibers including Shetland wool, long strand Moosburger Horse tail, alpaca and cashmere. "We are very proud of our products and truly delighted to be recognized by Her Majesty the Queen and allowed to offer this fine tribute in North America," added Bachor.
