Responding to consumer demand, Therapedic International expands its popular EcoGel®, PureTouch® and Therawrap® collections. The New Jersey-based company will unveil the new mattresses at the upcoming High Point Spring Market.
“After successfully showing these collections to select retailers at the Vegas Market, we took the feedback and worked with retailers and licensees to enhance and add to some of our best selling collections,” said Therapedic president and chief executive officer, Gerry Borreggine.
Therapedic is adding a fourth model to the popular EcoGel collection that will feature a three-inch layer of gel foam, more than any other mattress currently on the market. The open cell design of the gel-memory foam technology supports air and moisture movement while improving blood flow and oxygen exposure to skin cells. The combination of the DynaFlow® Cooling Fabric, designed to increase both the breathability and cooling effect, and the swirl gel-memory foam, allows the EcoGel beds to sleep cooler than traditional foam. The 14-inch “Blue Paradise” mattress will include a layer of convoluted foam for added comfort as well as a layer of soy.
An extension of the company’s PureTouch line, the PureTouch II collection, now features multiple layers of latex with varying densities, providing a range of comfort levels. The all-natural latex line now features an attractive sunflower pattern and a removable zippered cover. The collection includes four models: The 9-inch Natural Comfort II, a tight top, low profile design, with a 2-inch layer of Talalay latex, the 11-inch Natural Splendor II, a tight top, high profile design featuring two layers of latex, the 13-inch Natural Serenity II with 6-inches of latex offered at different density levels, and the new Natural Harmony II featuring a full 8-inches of latex of varying densities.
Therapedic’s first encased-coil line now features a comfort layer of gel-infused foam. Set atop a base of wrapped coils, the new hybrid features a layer of the company’s EcoGel® swirl gel-memory foam. The open cell design offers multiple cooling and comfort benefits, allowing the enhanced Therawrap beds to sleep cooler than the original design.
The collection is offered in varying thicknesses and utilizes advanced wrapped coil, innerspring technology. Each coil is individually wrapped in a high quality, high density, and breathable fabric, allowing independent movement. A fourth model includes an added layer of microcoils. The “Sophie” includes a layer of microcoils above a core layer of 2,000 coils for increased support.
