Therapedic is ready to turn up the heat at the summer market with a full slate of products set to be unveiled at the company’s showroom, including three new mattress lines.
Dubbed as the “sound of sleep,” Therapedic’s new Bravura collection is a four-model memory foam and latex collection named after classic rock albums: Silk Degrees, Sticky Fingers, Rubber Soul and Pet Sounds. All four models feature copper-infused top layers of either memory foam or latex. Studies have shown numerous health benefits of copper, including anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. The hypoallergenic material works to encourage brain stimulation during sleep and improve circulatory function.
The new Bravura sleep systems are available in a 10" model, two 11" models and a 13" model with retail prices ranging from $1,299 to $3,999. The four models debuting in Las Vegas are an initial specialty introduction, which will be followed by two additional companion lines.
Therapedic will also introduce Innergy 2, a collection of two-sided mattresses that offer double the comfort, support and durability of conventional mattresses. The company describes Innergy 2 as the updated versions of its classic two-sided program, with the new iterations available in three models ranging from 13" to 15". Featuring an LFK coil unit and a mix of zoned plush foam, comfort foams and high performance gel foams, the Innergy 2 will range from $799 to $999 at retail.
Following a strong reception at the spring High Point Market, the company will also be showing its successful Agility by Therapedic bed-in-a-box program in Las Vegas. As with other Therapedic sleep systems, Agility by Therapedic features multiple layers of different foams, but what makes this line-up unique is the fact that it also features a layer of micro-coils encased in a supple, mesh-fabric to assist in the folding and compression of the product.
“The additional benefit of micro-coils is that they offer enhanced support and also provide a more agile sleep surface than most of the current products on the market,” explained Gerry Borreggine, Therapedic’s president and CEO.
Designed as a performance product, Agility is available with or without a knockdown foundation and can ship either directly to the retailer or to the consumer. Available now, the mattresses carry suggested retails ranging from $999 to $1,199.
Additionally, Therapedic will spotlight three models of its “super hybrid” line under the Tommy Bahama label—Barbados, Grand Cayman and Nevis—which range in retail price from $1,699 to $2,499. These models incorporate Leggett & Platt’s Combi-Quantum edge pocketed coil to offer a unique edge-to-edge support. The line also features the company’s new Visco Floating Foam, a highly breathable foam that offers consumers increased airflow, comfort and durability along with a unique, innovative feel.
After a concept showing last year, Therapedic is unveiling the full release of its innovative EcoGel Flex boxed bed collection. While the line-up may share some similarities with leading brands’ bed-in-a-box programs, this new program offers a noteworthy difference: the EcoGel Flex bed comes with an adjustable bed base and will be delivered, via white glove delivery, right to the consumer’s bedroom. Retailing from $2,999 to $4,999, this collection allows consumers to see and feel the bed on a showroom floor, and retailers to have the bed shipped directly from Therapedic’s fulfillment house to the consumer’s bedroom. Aimed at small-to-medium sized retailers, the EcoGel Flex program eliminates much of the heavy handling typically associated with the sale of an adjustable bed and bed base.
