Each of Technogel’s mattresses features a full layer of gel fused to one of three core options—foam, latex or inner springs. The Estasi+, the company’s most luxurious model, offers an indulgent sleep experience, featuring a one-inch thick, 88 lb gel layer (on King) with varied tower design for full body support. The Armonia, made for those seeking a firm feel with even pressure distribution, features a 1⁄2-inch, 48 lb layer of gel (on King) above a Talalay latex core. The Sollievo, designed for those who prefer a mattress with more responsiveness, has a 1⁄2-inch, 48 lb layer of gel (on King) combined with a body of 16-gauge Swedish pocketed coils. Each mattress is available in Twin XL, Queen, King and California King and is adjustable base compatible for further personalized comfort.
“While the bedding industry has recently seen a steady increase in the popularity of gel, we have been manufacturing it for more than 20 years and were the first to introduce the material to the sleeping category in 2007. We leverage our deep-rooted expertise in applications of gel to use the material to its ultimate potential,” said Technogel US Vice President of Sales and Marketing Alvise Bertoncello. “Today we remain the first and only brand to use a full layer of gel, which is why our mattresses stand apart as a distinct innovation with perceivable comfort benefits. Our patented gel acts as a second skin and shapes to the body like no other material or application available today.”
Technogel’s unique mattress feel revolves around its patented polyurethane gel, an innovative “soft solid” material that combines the three-dimensional deformation of a fluid with the memory-shape of a solid. The physical properties of Technogel allow the gel layer to mold to each sleeper’s shape, evenly distributing pressure throughout the contact surface to improve blood circulation and cradle the sleeper’s entire body. The specialized design promotes greater air flow throughout the mattress, enhancing the gel’s high thermal conductivity for a cool feeling that makes sleeping on Technogel all the more comfortable.
“Years of research, including a study conducted at the Le Molinette Sleep Center, showed that our patented soft-solid gel contributes to longer, more restful sleep,” added Bertoncello. “This scientific evidence not only validates our capabilities, it furthers our excitement to share the Technogel technology and ultimately help consumers wake up feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to face the day.”
