Since first introduced at the winter Las Vegas Market, Spring Air’s 90th Anniversary bed collection has generated so much business that the company has added new models and price points to further broaden retailers’ options.
“The response to our anniversary line has been overwhelming and we’re happy to augment the collection with three new beds that offer a choice of comfort,” said Rick Robinson, Spring Air president.
The original 90th Anniversary line includes three beds in firm, plush or Eurotop designs from $799 to $999 in queen. The new models offer a choice of firm or plush feels at $599, plus another Eurotop style at $699, resulting in a six-model series from $599 to $999.
All of the 90th Anniversary beds feature a zoned, encased-coil base construction and upholstery layers like memory foam and latex. Models at the upper end of the collection have an additional micro encased-coil layer that results in several extremely high coil count beds at the top of the series.
The full 90th Anniversary line, whose aesthetics “were a big hit last market,” according to Robinson, will again be shown in formal wear looks that feature black, silver and white fabrics with complementary top-of-bed accents, including a tuxedo throw pillow.
Spring Air will also spotlight its newly introduced Chattam & Wells line in Las Vegas. The collection “has outperformed every expectation,” Robinson noted. “In California alone, Chattam & Wells was placed on 100 more retail floors than anticipated. This is an opportunity for any dealer who may have missed the presentation in January to leverage the success of this five-model, designer-like collection.”
The company will also continue its milestone birthday celebration—with its showroom, retail support materials and an opening-day cocktail party all promoting its anniversary. Under the theme “90 Years of Consumer Trust,” which supports its brand position “Trusted by Millions since 1926,” Spring Air plans to recognize its birthday through March of next year.
