Serta Adds Springs to iComfort

Serta is combining its revolutionary Cool Action(TM) Gel Memory Foam with its most advanced innerspring, the Duet(TM) Coil Individually Wrapped Coil-in-Coil Support System.  The combination of these technologies allows retailers to introduce customers to the benefits of Cool Action Gel Memory Foam with the support of a traditional innerspring mattress.

Serta introduced Cool Action Gel Memory Foam in 2011 with the iComfort(R) Sleep System. This unique material is made with Serta's exclusive MicroSupport(TM) gel, which is infused into premium memory foam. The company reports the formulation offers up to seven times more cooling comfort and up to two times more support than ordinary memory foam. The introduction has reinvigorated interest in memory foam mattresses.

This technology combines the Cool Action material with the Duet Coil Support System, which is uniquely designed to respond to each sleeper's body, for balanced comfort and deep, postural support.
