Magniflex Introduces New Magnigel Gel Bedding

Magniflex will introduce cooling and comfortable gel to its collection of namesake mattresses and pillows at the upcoming High Point Furniture Market. Designed for maximum airflow and breathability, Magnigel® is the result of years of research and development, aimed at providing consumers with the perfect sleep experience.

The high density, flexible composition of Magnigel offers a luxurious ultra-plush feel that envelopes the body for maximum comfort. Created by using a pre-polymer that is added and ‘swirled’ into the foam compound for greater coverage, Magnigel also keeps both mattresses and pillows cooler and fresher longer for ultimate comfort. The open cell design of the gel-foam technology provides breathability and a capacity to dissipate heat faster which keeps temperatures stable and prevents the problem of “sleeping hot” often associated with memory foam mattresses. Research shows a significant difference in mattress heating times, with Magnigel surpassing both memory foam and latex alone.

“It is clear that keeping cool at night has become a key selling point for our North American retail partners. However, we didn’t want to rush introductions and end up with a sub-par product on the market. Instead we dedicated our time to creating a superior gel-foam design to enhance the comfort for which Magniflex is known,” said Magniflex Global Sales Director Marco Magni. “In developing Magnigel, we spent considerable time comparing the heating times of various bedding components including memory foam and latex. It was very exciting to see that our Magnigel surpassed both of these materials, staying cooler longer.”

Magnigel will now be offered as an option for many of the popular models within the “Magniflex Collection.” The gel option will also be available in a series of Magniflex pillows, including the Standard, The Wave and Comfort pillow

Magnigel is eco-friendly as well as crushproof and long-lasting. Highly durable, this gel foam has the ability to rapidly return to its original shape about being reduced to 10 percent of its original size.
